Hey people, deviants, errrr humans

So how has it been? Wow last journal I wrote was back in February!So what has been going on....

Well I took a one day course at London Academy of Art and Media and the course was about "Studio Photography and Lighting" I really enjoyed it and though it was only for a day but I learned so much and even got a diploma for it now I need to buy studio lights to start practicing lol

I've also covered a few live gigs and managed to be featured in one rock web site and 3 bands' Myspace pages

Last but not least, my final menu project which was for Papaya Restaurant and Cafe in Jeddah has gone online and the cafe is up and running next to "Al-Shate'a" market in North of Jeddah. You can see the photos and menu here: [link] (click English at the top if it appears in Arabic).

The food is really good, I got to try it all

About my personal life, I am an uncle now after my sister gave birth last May to a beautiful boy named "Abdulrahman" Carrying him for the first time was one of the most amazing moments in my life

I am still working with a telecom company in Manchester called "Telefonica O2" and hopefuly by January next year I will start my MBA

In the end I have a question, where is everyone?? I am uploading photos but rarely getting any feedback or critique. I am thinking DA is not as it was when I first joined it 4 years ago... its just people commenting on their friends' and pals' photos now rather than giving valuable feedback to the whole of the DA community... This is not Flickr, and it sadens me to see this happen...

yeah yeah I know I have been away from DA for a major long time! The reason is cause of some major changes in my life like moving from Saudi Arabia to the UK and starting to work there (and studying soon!)

So whats new? I sold my D70s and got a D300, also I just got the Nikon 18-200mm VR Lens and the SB-900 flash

So expect some new improved work really soon!

Hey guys! Man I miss this place! I have been so busy with work that I forgot about the place that taught me all I know...

Anyway I am back after a quick vacation in Turkey and Dubai, and I will get back to commenting on your work and faving

My arsenal got stronger with my new Tamron 18-250mm which never came off during my trip, its an excellent all purpose lens which I highly recomend (price aprox. 450$)

So... what have you guys and girls been up to?

Well here I am back agaib after leaving DA for 2 long months! The reason was that my sub expired and I couldnt renew it cause the bastards at STC (Saudi Telecom) blocked the purchase page from DA! And even when I tried renewing while I was in Dubai, I got a reject from DA cause of fraud suspecion! Cause I was loggin in from somewhere "far away" from where my card was issued

Anyway thanks to my best pal who is in Canada now, and the owner of a Canadian Debit Card, I managed to renew for another year! Thanks Faisal!

I miss you all... and now let me go take a look at the 5800 deviations waiting for me! loool
