I am proposing to hold the first "Arab Deviation Photography Awards"... And I need everyone's help to make it work

How Can you help?
* Spread the word around! Send notes, messages, emails to other deviants with a link to this journal
* Start sending in nominations!
* Contribute by designing the award!

What are the Categories?
* Best Male Arab Photographer
* Best Female Arab Photographer
* Best Conceptual photo 2006
* Best Nature Photo 2006
* Best Portrait Photo 2006
* Best Abstract & Surreal Photo 2006
* Best Humorous Photo 2006
* Best Urban& Rural Photo 2006
* Best Still Life Photo 2006
* Photo of the year!

How do I nominate?
Send me a note (other methods are not accepted) and just copy and paste the categories and put the link of your choice next to the category

Till when can we nominate?
Nomination is open till 15th December 2006

How will the winners be chosen?
We will set up polls by 30 December which include all the nominations

What will the winners get?
Of corse in addition to WIDE recognition by the DA community, each winner will get:
* A one year subscritpion to DA + two items from the DA store (it can be prints, t-shirts, caps, etc.)
* An award (graphic of corse!) will be designed which will have your name on it, which you can proudly show in the footer of your journal, shoutboard, etc.

Any rules?
* All nominations must be Arab Deviants or Photos Taken by Arab Deviants... Duh!
* No nominations for mature content are accepted
* You can not nominate yourself or any of your own work
