Well I think its about time I get me a decent cam... But I am keeping in mind that I need:
1- Something not very complicated in use
2- Something not very expensive, cause I am still not a pro (around 700$ - 900$)
3- I am not interested in buying many excessories to start with, like different lenses and warming filters, etc.
So basically after gathering info from different deviants, my options are:
Canon 350D
[link]
Nikon D70
[link]
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30K
[link]
So I need all the feedback I can get... And any suggestions, and recomendations for the basic accessories for the cam of your choice...
Thanks friends
UPDATE: A new camera has entered the list, the Canon PowerShot S3 IS
[link] (Recomended by Sonic-Boom
[link])... feedback appreciated...
UPDATE 2: Well thanks to all the people who joined in! I will make a new journal to sum up all the input so we can think out loud together
And by the way.. I made one of those blogger page thingies -->

D70s is heavy, bulky, very well shielded and good for rough situations. Has an F Bayonet mount which all brans (Zeiss, Sigma, Tokina, Tamron & Nikon) make lenses for. I like it. It's a great camera.
The 350D is same as the D70s but much lighter and has the same options for lenses. I personally don't like it because it feels plastic although most of the time, I've seen much nicer camera results with the Canon.
The FZ30 is an entrey level SLR with a very long view range. It's a great bang for the buck man. If you want to upgrade to a better camera but not go all the way just yet, consider the FZ and now considering how the D70s just dropped $300, you can go for it too.
Good luck.
